Art in the snow

I don't know about you, but at my house, the snow will not form snowmen or forts, nor will it make beautiful snow angels...it is just too crispy. Brooklyn wanted to play in the snow this morning, so I sent her out with a spray bottle filled with colored water. She LOVED it! I'm going out to get more spray bottles and more food coloring. We're also going to try painting the snow and see how that goes. FREE, FUN and FANTASTIC!

LDS Film Festival Jan 21st-24th

What a great idea for a date night or girls night out...the cost is only $2 a ticket! Reserve your tickets asap by clicking here. I'm planning on attending...our neighbor across the street directed the photography for "Father in Israel" and my friends' brother is the main actor. It sounds like a good one.

IKEA

While parents shop, kids can hang out in the free, fully supervised children's play area as long as they are 37"-54" tall and fully toilet trained. If children are accompanying mom and dad through the store, they are invited to touch any product, and the in-store restaurant serves up fairly inexpensive breakfast, lunch, and snacks when tummies start to growl. The restaurant opens 30 minutes before the store opens, and closes 30 minutes before the store closes. The children's playroom closes one hour before the store closes.

I would recommend going any day but saturday...they only allow a certain number of kids in the play area and you will be put on a waiting list...but they do "invite" the kids to touch everything...sooo...maybe it wouldn't be too bad.

Also, until January 19th, they have all-you-can-eat Penne Pasta for just $1.99 in the IKEA restaurant upstairs.

If you haven't experienced IKEA, you really need to! You can always find something you "need" there. It's fun for the whole family...

Visit http://www.ikea.com/ to check out all their fun stuff!

Family Home Evening activity...FREE!

Monday night...6pm...It's feeding time for the fish in the LARGE aquarium at
Cabela's in Lehi, and you are welcome to watch for FREE!

Every Monday-Thursday @ 6pm
Every Friday and Saturday @ 12pm and 6pm

Then enjoy the rest of the "museum." For just a couple bucks more, you can go upstairs and shoot targets (which even my girls love) in the arcade and grab some chili cheese fries or ice cream in the cafeteria for a little FHE treat!
